HELP & FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about ordering a permit-ready site plan from Jobsite Plans.

What exactly do I get?
A print-ready PDF site plan showing your property lines, setbacks, existing structures, and proposed work — drawn to scale with dimensions, a north arrow, and a title block. It's formatted the way permit offices expect for submittal.
How fast will I get it?
Most plans are delivered within about 24 hours of receiving your details. Need it sooner? Add Rush Delivery for priority, same-day-style turnaround.
Is this a survey? Is it certified?
No. Our plans are non-certified and are not boundary surveys. They're prepared from your documents, public parcel records, and aerial imagery for permit-submittal reference. Property lines are certified only by a licensed land surveyor.
What information do you need from me?
Your property address, a description of what you're building (with rough dimensions if you have them), and any survey, plat, or existing site plan you can share. Photos help too. The more you send, the more accurate the plan.
Do you come out to my property?
No — everything is done remotely. There's no appointment or site visit, which is what keeps it fast and affordable.
Will my city accept it?
Most cities accept a clear, scaled site plan for projects like fences, sheds, decks, driveways, pools, and additions. Requirements vary, so we recommend confirming your city's checklist before submitting — send it to us and we'll match the format where we can.
Do I get revisions?
Yes — one free revision is included with every plan. Just send your changes and we'll update the drawing.
What areas do you serve?
Because everything is done remotely, we prepare permit-ready site plans for properties anywhere in the United States — all 50 states. Wherever your project is, we can help homeowners and contractors get a clean, permit-ready plan
What if you can't complete my plan?
If we can't produce a usable plan for your project, we'll let you know and make it right per our refund policy. See our Refund Policy for details.
